WISL is excited to be hosting a free coding camp for high school students in the summer of 2025. This camp is for Teens in 9th-11th grade (ages 14-18). Participants will earn beginner-level badges in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web development, or intermediate-level badges in Python for cybersecurity

What an amazing first day!
Today, we welcomed a fantastic group of middle school students to our Free Python Coding Bootcamp at the University of Dallas, powered by Women in STEM Leadership (WISL).
It was inspiring to see the students’ enthusiasm, curiosity, and eagerness to learn as they took their first steps into the world of coding. From exploring Python fundamentals to engaging in hands-on activities, the energy in the classroom was incredible.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing how excited the students were to learn, many were reluctant to leave when camp ended! Moments like these remind us why early exposure to STEM education is so important.
A heartfelt thank you to our instructor Samuel Amajoh , volunteers, parents, and partners/sponsors CISO XC , American Woodmark, The University of Dallas, She Angels Foundation, Lithia4Kids, and Cyberdors Cybersecurity Institute (CCI) LLC who are helping make this opportunity possible for the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
